"My sources of inspiration are emotional images from various sources such as books, newspapers, and social media.
From these, stories with subtle messages are created, which are then conveyed to the viewer in this way but leave room for interpretation.
The visual representations go beyond the everyday perception; familiar thought patterns are broken, new perspectives are opened up.
Therefore, my images are also to be understood in the tension between objectivity and abstraction.

Regarding the hydrant and motorcycle images:
These works show various representations both in their overall form (hydrants) and as details (hydrants and motorcycles), it allows an idea of the complete object
and its functionality. Especially the detailed views show the objects with all their signs of use, which time, humans, and weather have left behind."

Christine Rechnitzer

Award winning contemporary artist, born in 1968 in Vienna, who lives and works in Burgenland.
Member of the Professional Association of the Visual Artists of Austria.

She conducts and organizes CreARTivity painting workshops, in which participants can connect and re-connect with their innate creativity. Christine is a certified Art Therapist, she also re-designs lampshades.

In her works she uses besides the classic materials, coffee, salt, nail polish, bark of the whine and cream of tartar among others.

In her early twenties, after she graduated from Fashion School, she was a guest student at the master class of Friedensreich Hundertwasser at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
Although she decided to pursue a career in marketing and management, creativity has accompanied Christine throughout her life, in one way or another and painting has been a constant factor in her life.
After more than 20 successful years in the pharmaceutical industry and international retail management, she followed her heart and became what she is: a visual artist.

“Art must be alive and perceived vividly, only then does it fulfill its purpose. If it is not just consumed superficially by the viewer but is perceived in its entirety when the viewer looks beneath the surface, valuable communication can arise between artist and viewer and a dialogue can begin. A dialogue that often doesn’t need words.” she says and

“It is always fascinating to have a blank canvas in front of me and to dedicate myself to creating a work with all my creative being.
Joyfully immersing myself in a state without time and space - that is pure pleasure and fulfillment at the same time.”

"Мy goal is first and foremost to explore my own limits and possibilities. ARCHITECTURE and DESIGN help me to explore the causal relationships and construction of the material environment we live in, and the FINE ARTS enable me to expand my understanding beyond these material limits ...
Тhe understanding the superficial and sensory environment is gradually complemented by the development of the intuitive and purely creative beginnings. It is a never-ending process that "keeps me on the surface" and at the same time immerses me in a different, parallel reality, filled with symbols and unexpected, sometimes difficult to understand revelations.“
I am not one of the artists who produce paintings... I work a lot on the prima vista, but at the same time I give myself enough time to be able to create the best I am capable of... When I understand Myself, then I can understand the Universe and the Spirit of the Universe.

 ...The experiment continues ..."

Elena Baurecht

«Flashbulb memories»
My artistic research is based on the phenomenon of "flashbulb memories". These are vivid emotional memories from childhood associated with new knowledge and exploration of the universe.
Space fascinates everyone, especially children: they play astronauts, build models of rockets and lunar vehicles, visit museums and go to performances just to get closer to this great mystery.

I also want to contribute to the space odyssey. My small contribution to the possible unity with the cosmos. After all, participation in the great discovery of humanity is important for everyone.
My personal project is related to impressions and memories. Humanity has always strived to reveal the secrets of the universe; the starry sky has always attracted attention and lured with its darkness.
My works touch on the theme of "games", games as a way of exploring the world.

In the project I use various media – acrylic and oil painting, screen printing. I fill large local spots with vivid metaphorical scenes.
The works depict one fleeting moment or another: a girl dreaming of becoming an astronaut, a boy dressed as his favorite hero conquering space.
These physical embodiments of flights of imagination form a child's vivid world as space, object and illusion.

Elena Baurecht was born in Russia in 1983 and has been living in Austria for over 17 years.

The artist has been engaged in painting since childhood.

She learned realistic painting by attending the summer school at the St. Petersburg Ilya Repin Academy of Arts and taking several courses with Edith Lesnig (Obervellach).

She has also learned various painting and creative techniques through various national and international courses.

First creative attempts, especially with drawings, during my youth. Due to family and professional reasons, I then shifted my artistic ambitions to photography.

Since 2006, thanks to my daughters, I have returned to painting. I work in various techniques, preferring watercolor and acrylic painting, but I am open to any technique.
My artistic awareness is shaped by the beauty and uniqueness and the naturalistic depiction of nature and humans.

Lessons with various international artists, master classes from 2018 to 2021 at the Kunstfabrik Wien, solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.

Robert Lösch

Dipl.-Ing. – Austrian architect, photographer, and fine artist.
2017 – 2018     Master School for Communication and Design: Graphische HBLA, Vienna (Austria)
2015 – 2017     College for Photography and Audiovisual Media: Graphische HBLA, Vienna (Austria)
2004 – 2015     Architecture studies (Dipl.-Ing./MSc): TU Graz (Austria) and Politecnico di Milano (Italy)

Robert Lösch studied architecture at TU Graz and Politecnico di Milano. While working in several renowned architectural offices in Graz, he already participated in art exhibitions, including at the Kunsthaus Graz, the "Friendly Alien."

After completing his studies, he pursued further education in photography, graphic design, and painting. During this time, while partly working as a freelance photographer, he had additional exhibitions at venues such as the Kunsthistorisches Museum, designforum, and the Albertina. In painting, Robert Lösch was particularly influenced and supported by his mentors Wilhelm Drach and Karl Kriebel.
Today, his artistic spectrum spans various media, from painting to photography, videography, and digital forms of representation, culminating in the final spatial experience. Ultimately, the goal is the search, analogous to the experience of the journey in mountaineering – the search for absolute intermediality. An art form that unites all types of artistic creation into a kind of "meta-art."
"Everything is correlated, an interaction that elevates the whole far beyond the sum of its individual elements. Photography, communication design, and architecture form the educational foundation for this intertwining of all elements."

The artist-photograph has participated in several exhibitions in Austria, the United Kingdom, and the USA.

In 2021, Robert Lösch participated in the “Liquid ~ Sky” exhibition at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA), where he received the Director’s Choice Award for "Distant," a digital photograph.

„Modern Women Images“
"The large-scale, flat works in bold colors predominantly feature women. The artist focuses on staging, using the stereotypical iconography of fashion magazines to depict a society of the third or fourth generation of women who have grown up with role models from new media. This can also be seen as a continuation of tradition. A certain nostalgia is evident. She constructs the images, creating the worlds she needs, either out of longing or as a critical improvement of the existing ones, whether ideologically or formally. Technically impressive, sharp, clean. In the images, a search is conducted between 'I' and 'We,' between the individual and society."
- Tamara Karjuk, art historian and curator of the exhibition "STICK TOGETHER," 2021

Yulia Becker has participated in several exhibitions and Art fairs in Austria, Switzerland, China and South Korea.
